Preview

With the possible departures of Wesley Fofana, Tielemans and Jamie Vardy, it has become eminent for Rodgers to make new signings but this shouldn’t be a priority over getting the Leicester City team to get a first win since the resumption of the 2022/2023 Premier League season.
Leicester City have scored twice in each of their games against Brentford and Arsenal but have only garnered one point from the two games. Leicester City will face Chelsea and Manchester United consecutively after their game with Southampton, hence the need to get a win over Southampton.

On the other hand, the Southampton side had shown a great come back last weekend when they bounced back from an initial 2-0 down time against Leeds United courtesy of goals from Joe Aribo and Kyle Walker-Peters in the final 18 minutes.
However, Southampton have to put in a great deal of work in their leaking defence.

Southampton have remained winless in their last four games against the Foxes, with their last win coming in January, 2020.
